Wabash Junction... has been a Service Station for Lionel trains since our beginning in 1987. We realized the importance of good service documentation and an organized method of finding parts for a Lionel product from postwar to modern era. Our database covers over 1,850 parts and is still growing. Now, I'm not saying we have all of these, but we try to identify and cross reference many of Lionel's parts as possible, and inventory those that are commonly requested or used by our repair staff.
With the era of computer and sound chips being placed within model trains and the product being manufactured offshore, finding replacement parts is becoming an issue. Help us, help you! Let Lionel and the other train manufactures know that you would like to pass on your trains, that you enjoyed as a child or an adult, to your children or grandchildren. There is a need for repair parts!
In July of 2009, the Wabash Junction staff attended and successfully passed the required examinations to maintain our Factory Trained Authorized Warranty Service Station rating.
New Lionel Warranty Policy
Effective October 31, 2009, Lionel will be enforcing their warranty procedures as follows:
“A warranty repair to a product that has been purchased within the last one year (being manufactured within the past five years), and has a sales receipt from an Authorized Value Added Dealer. The customer must have a copy of the original sales receipt that shows the date the item was purchased and the dealer from which it was purchased.”
“If the item was not purchased at an Authorized Value Dealer, the repair is NOT warranty” and will not be honored by Wabash Junction (Beatty TeleVisual). Again, for warranty service, product must have been purchased from an Authorized Value Dealer!
Wabash Junction is now a MTH ASC
As of August 2016, Wabash Junction is now an Authorized Service Center for MTH.
